Hiroshi and Joan | Modern Engagement Session

It was such a pleasure meeting this lovely couple. How lovely you ask? They were naturally sweet. I would find Hiroshi randomly giving Joan a sweet kiss to the forehead without me directing him to do so. That sweet! As for the shoot, it was a really quick one. We had barely half a day to take some snaps but I’m not complaining, I really had fun photographing them. The engagement session was held at a local art center in Metro Manila. The building itself is already an artwork with a giant spiral staircase and weirdly positioned windows. There were also some really cool looking facilities and a gallery inside. Just the right pretty place for this beautiful couple.

They are both based in Japan where they met four years ago. If you guys are intrigued by Hiro’s nationality, he’s not Filipino but Peruvian-Japanese. On the other hand, Joan is a pure Filipina. They flew all the way here for this e-session and their wedding which happenened in two succeeding days. Yes you read that right! Surprised? That was why I had to finish shooting quickly so they can rest for the big day. Which only means we’ll have a post wedding shoot at where else, but in the Land of the Rising Sun, right guys? Hahaha. Okay that was my little nudge for Hiroshi and Joan. :] Anyway, here’s their awesome engagement session!
