Paoay, Ilocos Norte Wedding | Lendell and Nikki

I’ve heard of the Hispanic heritage of Ilocos Norte, but to cover a wedding at one of the few World Heritage Sites in the Philippines was truly a privilege. The structure was so massive and the elaborate details of the Paoay Church was visually stunning. There were a lot of details at the wedding – other than the color choices, one of the elements that was widely used is the Eiffel Tower. From Nikki’s bouquet to the table details and the stage at the reception, the tower’s presence exudes a posh and grand atmosphere.

The wedding was a good mix of traditional and contemporary concepts. Having the beautiful church as the back drop while being surrounded by their family says a lot about a classic Filipino event. Meanwhile, looking at the gown designs and the reception details gives us an impression of a young and modern couple. Another proof of that would be Lendell’s tattoo that was kept a secret to Nikki. Who would’ve thought of having a part of their wedding vows tattooed on their chest? I haven’t seen one personally and to have it permanently etched was not just a statement of love but similar to a wedding, it’s something to be kept for life. A young love orchestrated in a grand celebration, let’s take a look at this beautiful wedding up north.
