Pantone 2016 | Rose Quartz and Serenity Wedding Inspiration

“Color has always been an integral part of how a culture expresses the attitudes and emotions of the times.” – Pantone. For the last 16 years, Pantone has been announcing an annual color for the year. At first, I thought it’s just one company deciding on a color that they want but after further research, I learned that it’s much more meticulous than that. Representatives from various color standard groups around the world meet each year in Europe to debate and vote for what color will be chosen.

This year, it is the first time that they announced two colors – Rose Quartz and Serenity. I was inspired by this bold move of veering away from tradition and picking two options. In weddings, these can usually fit in a garden or an outdoor event because of it’s light and somewhat rustic properties. This is also why we wanted to showcase its use in an elegant and classic setting complete with a grand wedding gown. I hope brides out there can grab some inspiration on how to apply these two gorgeous colors for their weddings. It’s such an honor collaborating with some of the best ones in the wedding industry so I won’t hold you up no further, enjoy the photos!
