If you’re a follower of my blog, you might see a couple of familiar faces from this blog post. I met Steph when she was a bridesmaid at her cousin’s wedding in Tagaytay about three years ago. If you want to refresh your memory and take a look back, just click here.
Their family is simply one of the nicest ones that we’ve met. Having built trust from a past wedding, it was much easier to cover this event with the connection and rapport that we already had. The mood was just exactly how Gino and Steph wanted it, an intimate and laidback day with only their closest family and friends.
Among the dozens of wedding venues in Manila, they picked an out of town spot in Montemar. As Gino said, it is their go-to place whenever they want to get away from the busy Manila routine. Personally, I think it was the perfect choice for an outdoor wedding. It’s quite rare to find a place that has a nice garden for the ceremony and a great beach for some sunset photos plus the reception. It really can’t get any better than this for those who are looking at getting married outdoors.
One moment that we can’t forget was when Steph was about to walk on the aisle. I was watching as the guests stood on their toes when the entrance was covered with a white cloth. It concealed her as she waited for her turn and when these were removed, everyone’s emotions just went high. There are the excited ones who clapped and cheered while there are those who just stared in awe as a radiant bride walked past them. Of course, there are those who just can’t contain their overflowing happiness that they teared up. Let’s halt the story there, now you’d have to browse the rest of this post to see these captured moments. Enjoy the photos!
