This trip to New Zealand started in Queenstown, where Jonathan and Rachel gathered their closest people for a welcome lunch by the lake. It wasn’t meant to be a shoot, just a day to spend time together before the wedding.
We started by sailing on the TSS Earnslaw, crossing over to Walter Peak with everyone on board. Somewhere between the conversations and the views, I pulled them aside for a few quick portraits, just capturing small moments as they happened. Later that day, we made our way to Ayrburn for a relaxed dinner with their principal sponsors, a quieter part of the celebration before the wedding day. It felt like a gentle beginning to everything that was about to unfold.
