Magallanes Church Wedding | Monch and Kristine

Where were you twelve years ago? Well, for Monch and Tin, that was the year when they started being together. How often do we hear stories of couples who started young, remained together, and married years after? In fact, this is a feat that only a handful of our couples have pulled off in our five years of covering weddings. Cheesy as it may sound, I find these stories truly magical.

I included their pre-wedding photos in this set and it’s no surprise that they chose their school, Colegio San Agustin, as the location. I remember how Monch described Tin when he’d see her playing tennis and it felt like we were transported back in time as we walked through the halls outside their classrooms. From the high school building to the gym and tennis court, we visited the areas that they frequented as students.

Moving forward to the wedding day, the priest who officiated the wedding was aptly their principal in school. He was the perfect choice because he knows them personally and he literally saw them grow up. Monch and Tin wanted a classic and elegant wedding that wasn’t too feminine that’s why they picked blue as their main color. To top that off, the St. Alphonsus Church in Magallanes is just one of the most beautiful ones in the metro and no one can go wrong in choosing it.

It is impossible not to feel inspired with this story. Who would’ve thought that two high school students will eventually become husband and wife? Just picture that and I’m sure it’ll leave you in awe. :]
