Unlike the many Tinghuns today held in hotels, restaurants, or dedicated event venues, Erick and Janella’s celebration took place at the bride’s home. Traditionally, the bride’s residence was the setting for the Tinghun, with the groom’s family coming to the bride’s family home for the engagement ceremony. And somehow, being at home made the celebration feel even more special.
The house itself was an impressive setting, beautifully styled with an abundance of pink roses that complemented the elegant and luxurious atmosphere. Every space felt thoughtfully considered, creating a beautiful backdrop for the celebration and, of course, for Janella’s four stunning looks throughout the day.
What made the day even more enjoyable, though, was how relaxed Erick and Janella were. Despite the grandeur of the setting and how polished everything looked, they were incredibly chill and easy to work with. They were open to anything, which gave us the freedom to create and capture a collection of beautiful portraits, candid moments, and quiet interactions. It was an elegant celebration with all the grandeur of a beautiful Tinghun, but at its heart, it simply felt like a wonderful day spent celebrating Erick and Janella.
