Shangri-La, Boracay Wedding | Jon Herrera and Patti Grandidge

With almost a decade and thousands of miles in their story, they’ve finally come to this day. Jon and Patti are no strangers in the social scene. Jon, a.k.a DJ Johnny Verse and an entrepreneur, has made his mark by rising from the ranks and achieving a lot not just in music but in various ventures. Meanwhile, Patti had Sweet Patti Cakes and eventually soared into hosting for ETC, a local cable channel. Despite having stellar accomplishments, the two are absolutely down to earth and are probably the sweetest couple I’ve ever met. From short sweet messages to heartfelt wedding vows, this is a beautiful union you wouldn’t want to miss.

Covered in hues of purple and green, the wedding details are hard not to notice mixed with pop art cards. Gorgeous flowers were brought in by Vatel Manila while Rosa Clara had a stunning gown filled with lace details. I never get tired of beach weddings and Boracay has always been a favorite for beautiful sceneries and sunsets. This wedding is not an exception, it simply is a perfect wedding.

After everyone else has posted their share on #pheartj, it’s just right that we reserve the best for last. Starting this with an excerpt from Sara’s speech (also part of a Jay-Z classic).

“But today, I got my thoroughest girl with me / I’m mashin the gas, she’s grabbin the wheel, it’s trippy how hard / She rides with me – the new Bobby and Whitney / Only time we don’t speak is during “Sex and the City” / She gets Carrie fever, but soon as the show is over / She’s right back to being my soldier / Cuz mami’s a rider, and I’m a roller / Put us together, how they gon’ stop us? / Whatever she lacks, I’m right over her shoulder / When I’m off track mami is keepin me focused / So let’s lock this down like it’s supposed to be / The ’13 Bonnie and Clyde, John & P”
